Moreton Bay Insulated Patios is an independent referral service; quotes come from an independent, QBCC-licensed builder who services your area (how it works).
Lysaght Living is Lysaght's range of steel verandahs, carports, patios and pergolas, sold as kits and through builders. For insulated roofs, Lysaght lists Bondor InsulRoof — a corrugated-profile insulated panel with a ceiling-like underside. This is an independent explainer — we are not a Lysaght dealer.

Kits vs installed
"Lysaght patio kits" are popular with DIYers, but in Queensland the structure still needs a building permit if it exceeds the small-structure limits, and anyone contracting to do building work valued over $3,300 needs a QBCC licence. Owner-builders have separate rules. See the approval guide.
Corrugated look
InsulRoof's corrugated top suits homes that already have a corrugated roof, and its 5° minimum slope is steeper than some trapezoidal insulated panels — worth knowing if you need a very low-pitch flat patio.
What to ask in a quote
- Exact product, profile and panel thickness (e.g. "100 mm") and colours (top and ceiling).
- The wind classification the design uses and who did the engineering.
- Whether the slab/footings, certifier fees, electrical (approved downlights, fans) and gutters/downpipes are included.
- The builder's QBCC licence number — check it on the QBCC register.
